Proofreading is most effective when your document is in a final draft state. When proofreading/copy editing,
we review the text, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax and other basic errors.
HARD COPY
$1.50/page, Typed only ($15 minimum) + shipping
$2.00/page, Photocopy of handwritten, transcription services available ($16 minimum) + shipping
If you send a paper copy of your manuscript, (handwritten $2.00/page, we will correct any errors using proofreader's marks and return the manuscript to you. You can then incorporate the corrections into your final copy.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION (email)
$2.00/page ($20 minimum) with a clean copy plus edited pages + shipping
$1.75/page ($20 minimum) without clean copy + shipping
If you email your manuscript as a Microsoft Word® compatible file, you will receive a corrected clean copy
in return.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION (fax or emailed pdf files)
$2.00/page ($20 minimum) + shipping
If you fax your manuscript or email it as a pdf document, we will correct the text using proofreader's marks
and return the edited hardcopy manuscript to you to make the final corrections.
TRANSCRIPTION FROM HANDWRITTEN
$5.50/page ($15 minimum) + shipping
If you send a photocopy or fax your handwritten document, we will edit and transcribe it into a correctly formatted Microsoft Word® compatible file and return it to you. We will include with your original transmission, the edited hardcopy manuscript, a clean printed copy of the document and the Microsoft Word® compatible disk.. One Page is defined as one 8 1/2" x 11" double-spaced sheet in a 12 point standard type or font.
BOOK DESIGN SERVICES FOR SELF-PUBLISHERS
For those planning to self-publish, we can provide book design and/or layout services by nationally recognized designers. This is estimated on a per project basis and are very reasonable for self-publishers.
ILLUSTRATION / PHOTOGRAPHY DESIGN SERVICES FOR SELF-PUBLISHERS
For those planning to self-publish, we can provide illustration, general photography and writers portraits by nationally recognized artists and photographers. This is estimated on a per project basis and are very reasonable for self-publishers.
PAYMENT
We accept payment via PayPal, Cashiers Check, Money Order and Personal Check (in advance with clearing time allowance). Charges are calculated based on the number of pages when the manuscript is received and
may be adjusted up or down depending on actual page count at the end of the project.
